Muriel Barbery est une romancière française contemporaine dont les œuvres ont été saluées pour leur poésie, leur philosophie et leur

Elle est née en 1969 à Casablanca, au Maroc, et a grandi en France. Après des études de philosophie à l'Ecole Normale Supérieure, elle a
enseigné la philosophie pendant plusieurs années avant de se consacrer pleinement à l'écriture.
Son premier roman, "Une gourmandise", a été publié en 2000 et a rencontré un grand succès auprès du public et de la critique. Il a
été suivi de "L'élégance du hérisson" en 2006, qui a été traduit en plus de trente langues et a remporté de nombreux prix
littéraires en France et à l'étranger. Ce livre, qui raconte l'histoire d'une concierge parisienne cultivée et solitaire, a touché les
