(Re)Discover Notre-Dame de Paris with VR
Take a journey back in time!
(Re)Discover Notre-Dame de Paris thanks to the acclaimed model created by Ubisoft
for the video game Assassin’s Creed : Unity. Ubisoft has been collaborating with historians for years,
meticulously collecting data and testimonials to build Notre-Dame in-game. Based on this 3D model, Ubisoft created a VR
tour
of Notre-Dame, enriched by the addition of lighting, sound - especially the real sound of the great organ playing Johann Sebastian Bach
-, special effects and animated characters. People can now get into the cathedral and discover point-of-views that were inaccessible to the
public, and elements of architecture that were destroyed by the fire, including the famous spire!
The visit last approximately 4 minutes in a lively environment of Paris in the XVIIIth century.
