Philippe Ricard - Founder of La Crêperie
After living in Shanghai for over 13 years, Philippe Ricard, the founder of "La Crêperie," has taken the helm of the restaurant chain's operations in Hong Kong. Philippe opened his first crêperie in Shanghai in 2007, never imagining that several more would follow shortly after.
Brittany, Philippe's homeland, is surrounded by the sea and offers a wide range of fresh seafood and fish. This rich tradition is reflected in "La Crêperie" where crêpes and galettes are the mainstays of the menu, alongside other traditional Brittany delicacies such as oysters, mussels, and scallops.
Now based in Hong Kong, Philippe Ricard continues to share the culinary heritage of Brittany through his restaurants, delighting customers with authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients.
Crêpes Workshop
Make your own crêpe! La Crêperie is happy to give the opportunity to its guests to cook a crêpe using its professional equipment. Our Chef will give a demonstration and provide some tips to make a nice and authentic Brittany savory or sweet crêpe, using various filling such as ham, emmental cheese, dark chocolate or salted butter caramel, some fruits and whipped cream. Then, you will be able to enjoy the crêpe you have created. Yummy… Bon appétit !
