Digital November, Novembre numérique invites the public to discover the latest French digital creations through a series of events supported by local partners. This year, we are also pleased to co-present the event with Hong Kong Space Museum; and enjoy the participation and support of Broadway Cinemathèque, the Women in Science Organization and the Laboratory for Space Research of the University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, Alliance Française of Hong Kong and Microwave International New Media Arts Festival.

The year 2020 marks an important turning point in the conquest of space. Several missions in the universe are planned globally: explore Mars, the Sun and the Moon again. The European Space Agency will contribute to the eminence of European scientific discovery thanks to the "Solar Orbiter" and "Rosalind Franklin" missions.

We will bring to the public a digital exhibition of selected Virtual Reality artworks from France and an online inaugural conference devoted to advances and challenges in space research, which will be presented by two French prominent figures in space research, Mrs. Fatoumata Kébé, astrophyisicist specialized in spatial debris, and Mrs. Laura André-Boyet, astronaut instructor and simulation director at the European Space Agency (ESA).

Interactive events open to general public of all ages will span over two weeks: "science cafés" workshop, the film screening of "Proxima" by Alice Winocour and featured with Eva Green at Broadway Cinemathèque, as well as conferences and talks on the topic in universities.

Sorry, you've missed the RSVP deadline for this event.
